Terrible App, Terrible Delivery Service

The app won’t stay logged in. It won’t give notifications. It is slow and clunky. It is a fitting app for a company that is by far the absolute worst of the delivery services. They are both dinosaurs.

FedEx should be ashamed

The app keeps getting worse. Now it’s not reliably logging in when I open it. Sometimes freezes. First screen shows no packages. Tapping on VIEW ALL shows packages! Frequently shows old deliveries from months ago that were previously removed. Initial screen with filters is useless and slows down everything. Just take me directly to my packages first and let me filter from there, if I want.

Can’t open app

Can’t open app and keep kicking me out. Please fix the bug! Was trying to check where my package is and couldn’t open the dang app

Doesn’t Work

This app has become unusable. With each update it seems to get worse. Before, it had trouble showing tracking numbers for packages in transit, wouldn’t open, buggy etc. Now you can’t even login. It gets stuck after you enter in your username and password.

App is garbage!

Can’t Stay Logged In

The watch app only works when your iPhone app is logged in. Unfortunately, I get logged out very quickly from the app. So to use the watch app, I have to pick up my phone and log in. Once logged in, I have no more need to use the watch app.

Home screen crash

Every time I tap on something it goes straight back to home screen. Even if I close the app it does the same thing when I open it again .Could you please update this???

New version is awful

The new version logs user out every day. Refresh doesnt work. App worked so much better before. Borderline useless.

I cannot even get the app to open. It either freezes or just shuts down.

This app has many bugs in it, but the worst is if you go to set up your preferences and happen to tap on vacation hold it turns it on and is on indefinitely , even if you’re just looking at it to see the functions . My package has been delayed for over 2 weeks because of this

USELESS APP, ZERO NOTIFICATIONS

App refuses to keep me logged in. There are zero notifications now. Packages keep sitting on my porch overnight. This app has become almost as useless as USPS. USELESS GARBAGE APP

Session expired errors

Won’t stay logged in. Session expired errors every time I login. Can’t even get in anymore. All since most recent update. Please fix.

Browser is better

The app requires me to log in every time I open the app and doesn’t save any of my tracking numbers. I have a better experience tracking through the browser.

The app is garbage the same as service by Fedex is garbage.

Really buggy and barely works. Disappointing you can’t track packages with good third party apps anymore either.

If you like going in circles without success, then this is your kind of app. I hate having to deal with Fedex. Drivers ignore instructions. Shipments are often delayed. The app is unusable. Packages are not left where my instructions indicate. Fedex is my last shipment option.

Need work

The app is constantly logging me out. It also suddenly shows old shipments. Also, shipments that are Out for Delivery, are only shown when you got to View All. This is not a good app in its current state. From the FedEx service standpoint, you cannot hold shipments of more than one piece despite putting a hold on the “master” tracking number. That isn’t helpful to have one part of your shipment held and the other still gets delivered. A very recent example is my 2 piece shipment, that the part the master tracking number was delivered (not held) and I am not sure if the status of the 2nd piece, but was on a different truck. You need to take a step back and reevaluate your process.

Please fix the app

When I open the app, it doesn’t show I am logged on and I have to refresh and then it shows I am logged on along with my incoming shipments. In addition, on the day of delivery, my shipment disappears and I have to go to the settings to make changes and then the shipment appears. The app has the latest update and I also deleted and reinstalled the app which didn’t help. Please fix it.

Fed ex driver

Left my package at the end of my driveway in water. We have a horse show driveway so there is no excuse for that!

A little buggy

My delivery overview shows only 1 delivery “on the way”, when I select view all it shows the 2 deliveries that I expect to see. It appears that the overview counts do not consider those scheduled for delivery today. On the way should include everything not delivered yet.

No longer working

App will no longer let me login. Keep getting error message saying session expired. Then returns to home page.

Discrepancy from desktop app to mobile

The mobile app, installed 2/25, shows none of the packages that appear in the desktop version (logged into the exact same account). I can only see the tracking for packages on their way to my house if I enter the tracking number. Even after that, they won’t let me add them to save in the mobile app, this thing doesn’t work at all.

Does NOT measure up

Failed to deliver as scheduled and to add insult to injury they turned off tracking so I couldn’t see where or if package would make it! Rearranged my schedule to be home and NOTHING! Piss poor service!!

App is a mess

The main tracking screen is all zeroes all the time. Only way I can see shipments is to use view all. Someone needs to fix this app.

FedEx App Broken

The fedex app basically just doesn’t work anymore. Does not show any tracking and shows old packages as label created when they were already delivered. It’s been like this for months now. It’s not updating activity correctly. Very sad.

What Happened?

App was ok and now I have to log in every time I open the app and I no longer get alerts. All things considered I’m not surprised, shipping in general seems to have gone to the dogs since the beginning of the year. Shame when USPS is boarder line more reliable SMH.

FedEX Sunnyvale Lawrence station road

I am extremely disappointed with FedEx. My international package has been delayed for over three days without any delivery attempts. Each time I contact customer service, I’m assured it will arrive “tomorrow,” yet it never does, and I receive no proper updates. This experience has caused me significant distress, and I feel let down by the company’s unprofessional behavior. I expected better reliability and transparency. I am not going to trust FedEx anymore and never do any shipment with them!!!

Notifications are few and far between

Atrocious

This app doesn’t show my orders unless I click on “View All” and it shows orders as being recently delivered that were delivered weeks or months ago. AfterShip is a much better app.

Very long time angry customer with no help from customer support 😡

Listen, for the filth time now, I have had my package delivered anywhere and everywhere except to my door. I’ve had an I-phone left in a plastic trash bag hanging in a tree in the pouring rain. Diamond earrings never to be found (hope someone enjoyed them) , diapers left out on the steps of an abandoned house with 10 foot weeds in the yard, sure I live there (anyone live there?) I’ve had a laptop slung in my yard chewed up by a neighbors dog and I almost ran over it sure wasn’t AT MY DOOR and an adult was home waiting for the delivery the never existed the truck nor knocked on my door, but my absolute favorites are these two FED-X— the 2 shipment your incompetent driver decide to open my trash bin and deposit the packages in, not once but twice!!! Yes I e called customer support, yes they say the problem would be solved and YES ITS STILL HAPPENING!! Do I expect any response from you ? Haha ha NO! But I will start buying products only from that has the beautiful brown truck that manages to find my front door consistently!!’

Worthless service

Paid for overnight to deliver certificate tome sensitive documents . They delayed delivery there is no one to talk talk or figure out what’s going on. Automated system is utterly useless and they caused real impact on the business transaction

Really Bad, And Against All Odds, It Keeps Getting Worse.

Freezes, crashes, repeatedly requests login credentials. I didn’t think they could screw this app up anymore than they already have, but clearly I underestimated them.

App overcharging when logged IN!!!

02-25-2025 ALL USERS PLEASE READ THIS!!! BRAND NEW UPDATED REVIEW: Ok…forget all my previous reviews for this app…it is so much worse than I thought. After updating the app last week on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I found a MAJOR bug. Typically when I open the app to check a rate, the app automatically logs me in with FaceID. Yesterday I opened the app and chose RATE at the bottom, as-usual. I entered a 13”x11”x3” plain box weighing 1 pound going from zip 18052 to 60611 (Whitehall-PA to Chicago-IL); value $50 with no signature. The app listed results, like always, with different arrival dates and their corresponding prices. After which I clicked on the lowest rate service with 2-day ground service arriving by end of day Wednesday 02-26-2025 with price of $17.54. When the final summary page came up with the price in large font at the top, something was different…at the bottom of the list it said “LOG IN FOR A MORE ACCURATE RATE.” I had never seen this before with this app. I looked closer and it appears I wasn’t logged in. “Ok”, I thought, “I’ll just log in”. BUT…after I logged in, the rate jumped to $21.86!!! Now…I rarely check a rate for my shipments…I usually just select SHIP from the bottom and select from the service/price list and again I have ALWAYS been automatically logged in by the app, so no message about logging in for accurate rate. So, I went down to my local FedEx Office Print and Ship Center. The customer service representative checked the rate for one package and it was indeed CHEAPER if I had him print the label instead of using the app!! Also, on the flat rate envelope which is supposed to be $10 for the 3-day delivery, the app wants to charge $29.64!!! Now, if I didn’t know the price already, I may have paid the $29 and been ripped off by $19!!! This bug I found in December and mentioned in a previous review below. How long the app been OVERCHARGING account holders I cannot say…but I hope everyone checks this for themselves and checks the rates from what the app provides against what the rate is being input by a customer representative at the FedEx counter. That is really the only way you will know if the app is over charging you. PLEASE check for yourself and add a review in the App Store if you find the same issue…the only way people will truly find out is if multiple users report it. Otherwise, one review gets lost in the mix. THANK YOU! Prior to these issues I was extremely happy and satisfied with the app, giving it a HUGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (five stars); it was very easy to use and printing labels was FAST. Sadly, I cannot honestly give it one star(although you have to) if it is clearly ripping me off for having an account with FedEx. I can say authentication is absolutely horrendous since last week’s update, sometimes sitting on the spinning circle endlessly, requiring re-launching the app all together just to log in. NOTE TO FEDEX: please revert to a previous ‘working’ version (something from late 2024) and fix these issues. But, before launching the next ‘fix-version’, PLEASE TEST IT THOROUGHLY. Your customers are often business owners whose time is extremely valuable…we really love the app, but I for one don’t want to be a Guinea pig unless there’s something in it for my time and the possible headaches a broken update could cause. What ever happened to BETA TESTING??? Is there no BT groups for apps like we had for programs and OSs in the past? If not, there SHOULD be (IMHO). Thank you for your time, I am truly sorry for the negative review and feedback, but it is truly deserved with these issues.

This Delivery Service is Terrible

Every single time I have an order being delivered with Fedex, something always goes wrong either it's not delivered to the right address, directly to me, damaged, or even attempted. Purposing causing it to get misplaced and lost if you even receive your package.

The app continues to be unstable

The latest update did nothing to address its stability issues. Use Predictable Software (UPS). The update made the app unstable! You need to get a new DevOps team!

Love my FedEx App

The app makes tracking packages so convenient. I love that the package placement is visible by a picture. Thank you FedEx and many thanks to the delivery staff!

So buggy

Have to open app multiple times to receive updates. App is terrible.

No deliveries

The app has an issue where unless you are receiving notifications, you can’t see your packages. Under the main account screen I show 0 deliveries on the way. However when I click view all, it shows. Other than that, if it wasn’t for notifications enabled and me actually knowing a package was shipped, I wouldn’t know I had anything coming, because the dashboard doesn’t show anything.
