Terrible app

This is an impressively terrible app. Does anyone actually test it? Shipments randomly disappear, half the time I have to force quit it and relaunch to see anything, and it has a slider for “notifications” you may or may not ever see. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

Update needed 911

My company ships daily and we rely on this app for all of the sales reps to have information on their incoming packages It has been ridiculous for the last week, even trying to get logged in much less get information that has anything to do with what we are doing currently The list is not updating. There’s glitches within the movement from page to page. It doesn’t seem like they can get it stable at all

Constant app issues

This app has really gone down hill. Everytime I open it says sign up or login. After I log in it works. Face ID is fully setup. But if I don’t open it for a few hours it does the same thing again.

Worst app on my phone

This is literally the worst app I’ve ever had. Doesn’t open more than half the time. Logs out when it does open. Tracking requires a one time code over and over again, even though I’m logged in then when I input the code, it comes up with an error. USPS app is better and that’s ran by the government so you know it has to be horrible.

The app use to be great now it’s terribly broken. Doesn’t keep you logged in, and when you do it just stalls, lags, and doesn’t show anything. Save time and just use the website.

Consistently logs me out, takes forever to load to main screen, shows cancelled shipments…this has got to be one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Shame on you FedEx.

Doesn’t work

Starting 4/9 it won’t open. Just crashes on open. Before that it would not remember me or let me sign in. What’s going on? Does this ever get tested by FedEx employees?

Crashes and log outs

Constantly logged out. Crashes half the time. Glitchy. Package list seemingly random. This is a package tracker. It shouldn’t be hard. Keep me logged in and show me my packages in actual date order. Such a terrible app.

Terrible

It’s a really terrible app … the notifications work just fine but opening the app or clicking on the notification brings you to the Sign Up / Login page … despite having my info / data saved and the app set up for Face ID. Sometimes the app will let you press the login button and it will, log in, after 20 seconds or so. More often than not, the login / sign up buttons don’t function and you can login by hitting the settings gear icon. Once logged in , the shipments that are on their way, as indicated by the notification one has received don’t populate or when selected you receive an error message along the lines of “that info is be available no”

Login Screwed Up Now

After the most recent update they screwed the login. It now shows the “login” option every time you open the App. Even if you are already logged in. You have to do the pull down to refresh multiple times to get it to show you are logged in.

From Decent to Worst

The FedEx app was ok before. It didn’t have the most up-to-date visual appeal but it was functional for the most part. Then you gave the app a GUI face lift. Well it seems like you forgot to bring the functionality over with it. When opening the app, it lags horribly. It won’t say that I’m logged out but it won’t show any account information either. Not.a big deal because I can just refresh it. But after that, my account shows but the filters don’t show all of my packages. The biggest filter problem you have is that you consider packages that are out for delivery as not on the way anymore. Problem with that is you don’t have a filter for that status so the package doesn’t show up in the count. If you select the “on the way” filter you won’t see any of the packages that are out for delivery. The only way to see the status of that package is to input the tracking number or select view all packages, without filters. Simple fix yet, this bug has been out ever since the design change.

Website not working properly on iPhones.

Going to fedex.com on my iPhone did not save my changes when using the edit button. It also did recognize my login information. However, on my tablet, the website did save my edited changes and did recognize my login information. Why is the website only working on a tablet or laptop and not on the iPhone?

Terrible now.

This app used to be just ok now it’s literally awful. Doesn’t stay logged in; ever and it says I have to shipments in transit once I finally get logged in. So if I can’t stay logged in and it can’t track anything, don’t understand its purpose anymore. I had been using this app for years while staying logged in and barely tracking package but the last 8 months to a year have been truly awful and impossible to deal with this app. I’ve given up completely and asked companies to stop using fed ex for my packages.

FedEx Robot Incompetence

FedEx: your address is incorrect. Please call us back to update Me: call back FedEx bot: Hi! There is absolutely no way to correct this address, talk to a human person, or even find out what address we tried to deliver to. LOL. Stop replacing competent people with incompetent machines you overpaid plutocratic MBA Gluesniffers.

The worst in delivery

The app is the worst, it doesn’t update for days at a time! The drivers are lazy, they toss the package on the porch, leave it unprotected in the rain, take the time to take a photo but can’t knock on the door to let you know they FINALLY delivered it!

Typical halfassed FedEx

Poor quality product engineering here. Finds packages coming to me about 40% of the time, I have to enter most by hand (yes I have full gone through address verification with them). No way to enter delivery instructions like a code either. They should really take a proper (not halfassed) look at their competitor's app but what do I really expect from halfassed FedEx, this is just so typically them. They don't care, top to bottom, it shows and it reeks on their brand and their business.

I have the app on my 7th generation iPod touch with the latest iOS 15. Why can’t it keep me logged in? It used to before the latest series of updates.

What good is a tracking app when they continuously change the delivery date/time when they realize they can’t meet the original scheduled delivery. Forget about tracking the delivery truck. Even within the window it says we can’t complete your request

Never have I ever searched out an app to rate in the App Store. This is a horrible app. It does not update shipments until after they are delivered. It is better to just look at the email from the company sending rather than rely on fedex. Horrible app and in general horrible service from fedex

App is going back-and-forth was saying I have deliveries and then saying I have nothing. This has been going on for months. Fix your app.

All good with the tracking but supposedly you can see the map but this doesnt work it would be dope if you can actually see the map instead of saying Sorry we are unable to show the map at this time.

Once you give them money that’s it. There is no competency to deliver by promised dates or no one has clue. It’s It deliver whenever it will or not. Never using this useless service again.

Terrible Tracking & Useless Virtual Assistant!

The FedEx App has the worst tracking of any shipping app I’ve used! The tracking for my packages always stops once it reaches Indianapolis IN. Then nothing! The Virtual Assistant is worthless. It will keep replying your package is on schedule when the tracking hasn’t updated for a week, and it’s already several days late. This app is just awful. I wish I could rate it negative stars!

Great at first but won’t save notification changes

Not allowing me to save changes to how I want to be notified.

Inconsistent

The app shows me packages that I received a year ago, even after I deleted it back then. It will show me a package is on the way one day and then it disappears and I can no longer track. Then it doesn’t track packages that are on the way. UPS app way better and consistent!!

Bad delivery

You constantly drop my packages off at the wrong area on my property. I would just like it to be dropped off where I had put in delivery directions.. This is becoming a very difficult matter. I would hope somebody would deal with it. I would really set like somebody to address this

Embarrassing

For such a large brand this app is horrible and FedEx delivery is even worse. App won’t even open half the time, says I have no deliveries one moment then I do the next.

App is literally biggest POSS

My goodness, does ANYTHING ever work on this app? The LOGIN is completely F and NEVER EVER WORKS PROPERLY. This app should be -2 stars and fire anyone who works on this and thinks this is acceptable. UPS is lapping FedEx twenty times over now in mobile app.

What’s the point of having a delivery date

If instead of meeting the date, you just change it. Lately my package was 2 hours away from me 3 days ago and it still hasn’t arrived. It’s insane.

Just fails

You can add a tracking number, but it might be gone the next day and you have to add it again. Sometimes there are two tracking numbers for the same package so that’s confusing. It takes forever for the app to get data from the server and requires you to manually refresh the app immediately after you open it. If you open a link from another app (eBay for instance) if you have this app installed it still just opens in a browser, rather than redirect to the app. I want to like FedEx, but the lack of QA and buggy programming of this app are both just too much. It’s very very annoying and difficult to use. It’s also just difficult to get a searched tracking number to appear in the “on the way” list. There’s no button to add it to that list and shipments don’t add themselves when you search. Basically this offers nothing more than simply doing a Google search of your tracking number.

I ordered an item and they were 7 hours earlier then they said they would be then they took the item and said they would resend it again later that day but then they just said nah your fine and made it so i had to wait 4 more days just to get my item and it was express not worth it at all amazon is way better and user friendly

The old app worked fine

If you’re going to update something, do it for the better. This app logs out, is glitchy, and not user friendly

Fix it!!

App keeps crashing and glitching. You click on a package to track and it keeps going back to the home page making it impossible to do anything with the app.

Easy and convenient

Delivery was on time and with utmost care. The FedEx App is also such a nifty tool for tracking your deliveries. FedEx locations are also very convenient and typically in common places like Walgreens and grocery stores. Overall FedEx is definite 5/5 stars!

Service has tanked

We live 20 miles from town. We used to get delivery to the house for 29 years (1 mi. From mailbox). now packages are left in the dirt but 2 smaller ones today were put in the mailbox at our mailboxes on the county road. No telling what will happen tomorrow when a few packages are due. We have had a lot of rain and our dirt is now mud. A few months ago I ordered an $800 mattress from Sam’s Club that was left on the county road at my neighbor’s gate (2 miles from me) in the dirt.

App is useless now 4/4/25

The updates have ruined the app. It now hides tracking on packages out for delivery. Wish at this point that the retailers I buy from give me the option to use UPS . Way more accurate and doesn’t take days to show the packages are in transit

Bugs

App needs work. Not smooth, “logs me out” until I refresh the page. Loses saved and favorited tracking information. Better off using the mobile site.
