Just signed for a delivery because I wont be home during the time they gave for delivery of my package. Simple!
I really like this app but I wish when I got a rate that I could go directly into the shipping process instead of being taken back to the home screen.
The FedEx app is great! The only thing I wish it didnt do is take me out of the app for shipping and pickup.
When this app works, it works great! Itll work for weeks at a time without issue. But recently its been crap. Ive had to reinstall it multiple times, its running slow, and it makes me re-log in every single time I open the app. And this isnt the first time all of these things have happened. So frustrating!!
App improved a lot. Well done FedEx. Waiting for new cool feature also in new releases.

Normally I would rate the FedEx app 5 Star for speed, reliability, accuracy, and ability to send out package notifications to people. The package notifications would be nice to be able to have HTML/TXT vs TXT alone, but I wont complain as the UPS app lacks that feature. I have had to constantly reset the app cache in the settings for the app, then login all over again. Once the app closes (not in background) and I open the app, it flashes briefly (scheduled maintenance) - it is so fast you cannot read anything else - most people would have to see the loading screen 10 times to see it, but with a photographic memory, I can catch it on the first try. On the screen it is a dialog box that wants you to click ok but the app shoots past the dialog box and reloads again as if you just opened the app and then sits there, with the loading (spinning circle in the center of the screen) screen forever. Its not the network Verizon LTEx (Advanced LTE) or multi homed WiFi (eBGP AS701 / AS3356, i noticed it when upgrading to iOS 9.3.4 recently. I have the most recent FedEx App - I dont know what else to provide to help you fix it. The app is DOA until then.
All I get anymore when trying to open the fed ex app is a notice on screen "unable to update". Please get this issue taken care of.
I no longer go to website and relay on this app. First page with entire information including shipments created against my address is very useful. Also, proactive notifications help me informed about my shipments.
The new version is a great update for tracking packages. I use this daily for tracking packages coming to the office and it is super convenient.
It is a great app when it is working. But it only work for a few days. Now it not loading on my phone. It will just have the loading circle but it will never load. It is such a hassle uninstalling and installing again just to make the app load again. Fedex please update it and make a stable app where we all can depend on!
I was having the same issue in my iPhone too. I just deleted the app reloaded it from the cloud signed back in no more problems. I dont know why it works just does have a nice day.
This app is the worst! Ive uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times, and it still works less than half the time. I cant even add or change delivery addresses without getting a "Connection error" or "Exam error" message. How can this company have such an awful app?!
I got the app thinking it would support functions not available on the web, but that is not the case. In fact it mostly forwards to a web page for actual functionality. If you just want basic tracking, it works for that but there are many better options that support other carriers too.
All it can do is track. I already get email tracking updates. I want to see what the final price was on my shipment.
Great app, and very easy to rate, track and locate the package love to see other features like shipping.
Overall the app seems stable and easy to use, but I am disappointed to see that a common and basic feature accessible on the website version that has been in place for a long time is not present. When copying and pasting a tracking number, if there are spaces within the tracking number, every space needs to be removed before the Apple track the package. On the web version you can copy and paste the tracking number, including spaces, and it will track fine. This seems like a basic functionality that was missed in the app design. Other than that the experience is fine.
Something is wrong with the app. It wont open and it keeps crashing.
The FedEx app has really improved - the interface to Delivery Manager is especially useful to redirect deliveries to FedEx office locations when I am traveling away from my office. Last week I was set to receive a red stapler and thanks to delivery manager, Lumbergh at my office will not be able to take it. :)
